The laboratory of apheresis, quality control of hematopoietic cells with the Department of Clinical Transfusiology is engaged in providing the stages of allogeneic and autologous transplantation of hematopoietic stem cells to patients with oncological and oncohematological diseases at the modern level with the introduction of new technologies.
The laboratory is provided with high-tech modern equipment. Specialists of the laboratory have undergone special training in the best clinics in Germany, South Korea, Hungary, Russia and Belarus.
The laboratory created the conditions in accordance with international standards:
for the collection of hematopoietic stem cells, using the latest generation of apheresis Spectra Optia, including in young children with low weight;
for cryopreservation, software freezing and long storage of hematopoietic stem cells in liquid nitrogen at t -1960 on cryogenic equipment "Sylab"
The method of immuno-magnetic selection of cells on the Clinimax apparatus was introduced and applied for the prophylaxis and treatment of complications after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
The laboratory conducts all-day immuno-hematological studies, pre-transfusion tests for blood transfusion in accordance with the current regulatory and legal framework and modern methods of gel technology. Provides all clinical units with blood components and preparations, observing all types of biological safety, including irradiation with X-ray irradiator Radgil.
The Scientific Center for Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery jointly with the Republican Blood Center annually holds a "Donor Day" twice a year.
