Residency is a form of postgraduate medical education in clinical specialties, the purpose of which is to acquire or change the professional qualification of a doctor in the relevant specialty.

The duration of mastering the educational residency program, depending on the specialty and previous training, ranges from 2 to 4 years.

Residency training is carried out only full-time.

JSC Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery announces a competitive admission for residency training on the basis of a State educational order, as well as on a paid basis for the training of medical personnel in residency for the 2024-2025 academic year in the following specialties:

7R01130 – «Pediatrics» 2 years of study

7R01123 - «Pediatric surgery» 3 years of study

7R01160 - «Oncology and hematology for children» 2 years of study

Documents are accepted from July 3 to July 25 at the address: 146 Al-Farabi Avenue, Department of Science and Education, Almaty.

The admission committee's working hours are from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00, lunch break from 13:00 to 14:00.

List of required documents:

Persons entering the residency submit the following documents to the admissions committee from 03 to 25 July of the calendar year:

1. An application addressed to the Chairman of the Management Board of Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery JSC on a standard form;

2. A copy of the identity document (original for verification);

3. Bachelor of Health Degree diploma and diploma supplements in Kazakh, Russian and English (originals and copies);

4. The original and a copy of the certificate of completion of the internship;

5. Diploma of doctor's qualification and diploma supplement in Kazakh, Russian and English (originals and copies);

6. The result of the 1st stage of the final certification in the internship (testing conducted by the NGO "National Center for Independent Examination" (NCNE), certified by the signature of the dean and the seal of the educational organization (if any);

7. Medical certificate 075-y;

8. A copy of the certificate of a healthcare professional (if available);

9. A copy of the work record, certified by the personnel department of the previous place of work (if available);

10. Documents confirming the availability of scientific publications (if any);

11. Six photos measuring 3x4 centimeters, a folder with an envelope (for photos);

12. A letter of guarantee from the organization on the conclusion of a contract and payment of tuition fees (for applicants on a fee basis).

If an incomplete list of documents is provided, the admission committee does not accept documents from applicants.

Deadlines for the acceptance of documents, examination and enrollment:
