Within the framework of Kazakhstan medicine days in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Children’s  Surgery signed a cooperation  memorandum with two national centers of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan: the National Center for Oncology, Hematology and the National Center for the Protection of Mothers and Children.

Today, in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), Kazakhstan medicine days started. Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yelzhan Birtanov with more than 100 delegates from Kazakhstan, headed to visit the neighboring republic. This event is an official upcoming visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev.

Kazakhstan medicine days in Kyrgyzstan is an event aimed to strength the cooperation between the healthcare systems of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, it’s an opportunity to expand interaction between medical organizations, the exchange of experience and knowledge, with innovations and technologies in order to ensure the availability and quality of medical care for citizens of both republics.

As part of the memorandum signing, an expansion of cooperation between the two countries is envisaged to reach development of medical tourism, improving the quality of medical care for patients, sharing experience in the field of medical education by training and advanced training, etc.

Within this working trip framework to Kyrgyzstan, have been planned to sign 10 memorandums between the medical organizations of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

The delegation included representatives of Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, leaders of medical centers, public and private organizations in the healthcare sector, universities, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and the medical community.

Within the framework of the Kazakhstan medicine days which held in Bishkek, the SCPCS management visited the Kyrgyz National Center for Oncology and Hematology. We met with the staff of the Center, conducted a detour with consultations and discussed plans for further cooperation.
