Vice Minister of Healthcare Yerzhan Nurlybayev Visits National Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery
On February 26, during a working visit to Almaty, Vice Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Shakirovich Nurlybayev visited the National Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery.
As part of the visit, Yerzhan Shakirovich familiarized himself with the Center's activities. During the tour, the Vice Minister was shown and told about the work of the Radiology Diagnostics Department (CT, MRI), the medication compounding room, the smart classroom, clinical departments, all intensive care units, and the Center's laboratories.
Various issues were discussed, including the challenges and prospects for the development of pediatric services in Kazakhstan as a whole and at the National Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery in particular, the clinic's material and technical capacity, scientific matters, issues facing medical personnel, and other topics.
During the meeting with the clinic's leadership, Yerzhan Shakirovich familiarized himself with the main challenges involved in providing medical care to children and listened to the doctors' suggestions and requests.
At the conclusion of the visit, Vice Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Shakirovich Nurlybayev thanked all the doctors working at the national center — where more than 6,000 children from across the country receive treatment each year — for their dedicated work, and wished them continued success.
