Donor Day was held at the Center of Pediatrics

Today, the traditional Donor Day was held at the Scientific Center for Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery in conjunction with specialists from the Republican Blood Center. The event was attended by more than 80 employees of the center, including young professionals.

According to the permanent organizer of the event, head of the Department of Clinical Transfusiology Kuanysh Umbetov, the promotion “Donate blood and give life!” is held in the center twice a year.

- “I have been donating blood for 20 years. As a doctor, donation is a useful procedure. First, our blood can help any patient who is treated at the center. Second, blood donation is good for health. In humans, such a process takes place cleaning the body, self-renewing blood and normalizing pressure. I believe that blood donation is a civic duty of every person, "said anesthesiologist at the pediatrics center Gulzhakhan Abdulayeva.

This year, the "Day of the donor" is held for the third time. It is worth noting that the number of volunteers in the center increases from year to year. Many thanks to all the staff of the center, who participated in the event!
