After renovation in Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Children's Surgery, the pulmonology department opened doors for its young patients.

Our pulmonology department attends kids with: chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases, chronic non-specific diseases of the bronchopulmonary system, malformations of the bronchi and lungs, immunodeficiency conditions with damage to the respiratory system, rare (orphan) diseases and severe forms of pneumonia.

Our little patients and their parents was delighted after they saw the transformation of our department.

Alia Sarbalina (Almaty scene-designer) with her team of volunteers, decorated department with bright colors - the colors of life. In each drawing, felt warmth & care, the colorful characters from different kids fairytales gives children & their parents a good mood. Paint for decorative works was provided by “Help Today” social Foundation under leadership of Elmira Aliyeva. We want to note acrylic paints absorb formaldehydes for 5 years and purify the air. In foreign countries, such paints are actively used in children's hospitals, school canteens and kindergartens.
