Since the announcement of quarantine, our Center has not stopped working, despite the cancellation of planned hospitalization in many medical organizations.

Today we have about 200 children with severe oncological diseases and congenital malformations. We continue to hospitalize patients with newly diagnosed diagnoses, and we also try not to interrupt the course of chemotherapy that has been started. Unfortunately, children's cancer is not waiting for the pandemic to subside, it has its own laws and can be punished no less severely than COVID-19.

We have not stopped doing complex surgical operations, as life goes on as usual, children are born with severe critical defects who need our help. So we continue to fight for children's lives.

I want to thank my team for working so selflessly in these difficult days for all of us.

Thanks to more than 100 SCPCS employees who left their homes, families, children in Almaty region and have been living in a student hostel for more than a month.

I would also like to wish good health and patience to our little patients and their parents for the fact that they continue to fight their illness in limited conditions of quarantine, understand and support us and our medical workers. We certainly know how hard it is not to see your loved ones for so long, to be in a closed space for a long time, depriving you of your usual way of life. But let's be optimists, we hope the virus will soon weaken, and the world grows with more kind peoples.

These days, our volunteers, public organizations help us, I already wrote about them earlier in my posts. I would especially like to thank the rector of KazNMU them. S. Asfendiyarova - Nurgozhina T.S. for the provided free hostel for our employees, the director of the Republican children's sanatorium "Alatau" - Musaev K.K., who created conditions for our patients to stay between chemotherapy blocks, because many of them could no longer go home.

We all understand how much responsibility we bear for the health of those who are treated in our clinic, as well as for our own health, because every medical worker counts today. Therefore, hospitalization in SCPCS is carried out only with a negative analysis for COVID-19, in case it is impossible to wait for the results of the study due to the patient's condition, we opened a pharmacy department.

I wish everyone good health, mutual understanding as never before, good luck and a lot of joy to our children, as well as a speedy victory over the coronavirus!

Chairman of the Board SCPCS, Boranbayeva Riza
