Today, on February 17, representatives of the Karaganda Pharmaceutical Complex, within the framework of the International Day of Children with Cancer, presented gifts to the patients of pediatric oncology and hematology of the Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Children’s Surgery - 60 sets of educational toys, board games and constructors for all ages. Oncohematology departments donated household appliances - refrigerators and a dishwasher for the needs of children and their parents.

Zhanna Dzhumanova, Head of Hematology Oncology Unit, and Nabi Adina, Financial Analyst, provided assistance to the Center from Karaganda pharmaceutical complex.

Annually, about 6 thousand children from various regions of the country receive treatment at the SCPCS. The department of pediatric oncology and hematology and the department of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation have been deployed on 134 beds of the SCPCS. More than 2,500 children with various oncological and hematological diseases passes through these departments annually.
