Today, July 26, 2021, a solemn presentation of certificates of completion of residency with the assignment of the qualifications of a pediatrician and a pediatric surgeon took place at "SCPCS".

Graduated from residency of 10 doctors, including 3 in the specialty "Pediatrics" and 7 in the specialty "Pediatric surgery". In his parting speech, the Chairman of the Board wished them a good journey.

The Scientific Center for Pediatrics and Children’s Surgery is a clinical and training base for many clinical departments of KazNMU named after S.D Asfendiyarov, postgraduate training and advanced training courses for doctors. On the basis of the SCPCS, residents are trained in the specialties "Pediatrics", "Pediatric Surgery", "Neonatology", "Pediatric Pulmonology", "Pediatric Oncology and Hematology". The center conducts on-site training in all regions of the republic on various topical issues of pediatrics and pediatric surgery. Also, on the basis of the SCPCS, refresher courses are held in pediatric oncology and hematology, cardiology and rheumatology, neonatology and intensive care of newborns, pediatric pulmonology, topical problems of pediatrics, laboratory science, pediatric surgery, cardiac surgery and urology.
