From August 2-3, in Zoom conference, a seminar-meeting was held with regional multidisciplinary groups to provide advisory, practical, diagnostic assistance to children with coronavirus infection and multisystem inflammatory syndrome.
More than 80 people took part in this seminar, among whom were not only specialists from SCPCS and regions, but also national consultants UNICEF RK and representatives of the UN Children's Fund "UNICEF" in RK.
The seminar was opened with a greeting from the Director of the Department of Maternal and Child Health Protection of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan M.Kh. Embergenova.
During the seminar, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Chairman of the Board of "SCPCS", Chief Freelance Pediatrician of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Riza Boranbaeva made a presentation on the topic: "Organization of medical care for children during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Role of Expert Advice in Counseling Children with Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome and COVID-19. "
Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Children's Infectious Diseases of the NJSC "KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov" Umesheva K.A. presented up-to-date information on the treatment of children with covid "Clinical protocol for the treatment of coronavirus infection COVID-19 in children in the Republic of Kazakhstan."
Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Pediatric Anesthesiology, Intensive Care and SNP "Astana Medical University", Chief Freelance Pediatric Reanimatologist / Anesthesiologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Maltabarova outlined the principles of intensive care for severe COVID-19 coronavirus infection and MIS in children. A doctoral student PhD "KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarova" Dzhaksybaeva I.S. presented the results of treatment of multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the seminar the most pressing issues of diagnostics and treatment of children with covid and MIS were discussed. As part of the seminar, a quiz was held on the topic: Coronavirus infection COVID-19 and multisystem inflammatory syndrome associated with COVID-19 in children.
