A Ceremony Titled "Compassion — The Light of Life" Held at NCPPS in Honor of International Nurses Day

Today, the National Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery held a ceremonial event titled "Compassion — The Light of Life," dedicated to May 12 — International Nurses Day.

May 12 is not just a notable date on the calendar, but a celebration of the people who bring warmth, care, and hope, helping patients cope with illness and restoring their faith in recovery. This day is observed worldwide to recognize the work of nurses in healthcare. Currently, more than 300 nurses at the Center for Pediatrics dedicate themselves selflessly to the health and wellbeing of children.

Nurses were congratulated on their professional holiday by the Chairman of the Center's Management Board, Abai Kusainov; Chief Physician Gulmira Altynbayeva; Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Science and Innovation, Lyazat Manzhuova; and Head Nurse Elza Maikorzhunova. They expressed words of gratitude for the nurses' demanding and responsible work.

"A nurse is a doctor's reliable partner. A nurse's work is not only about carrying out medical procedures, but also about enormous responsibility, kindness, and compassion. Your conscientious work, boundless care, and high level of professionalism form the backbone of the healthcare system. Today, we honor the nurses who, through their selfless work, have earned special respect. Your attention, warmth, and care for every patient deserve the highest gratitude. Our appreciation for all nurses, who are a symbol of compassion and humanity, knows no bounds!" said the Center's director, Abai Kusainov.

During the ceremony, more than 30 nurses were honored in various categories for their conscientious work and professionalism. In addition, a number of nurses received Certificates of Honor and Letters of Appreciation from the "Aqniet" trade union organization.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the duet "Karasaz," who graced the evening with their songs, as well as to the Center's Trade Union for organizing the celebration!

We wholeheartedly congratulate all NURSES on their professional holiday!
