A Celebration Was Held at NCPPS for Children Battling Cancer, in Honor of International Children's Day

Today, at the National Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery, a celebration was held for children suffering from malignant diseases in honor of International Children's Day. The event was held under the slogan: "Let's Give Children Joy!"

The ceremony was opened with a welcoming speech by the Center's Acting Chief Physician, Gulbanu Berdiyarova.

"We wholeheartedly welcome you to the National Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery for the celebration of International Children's Day! Every day, we, as medical professionals, fight for the health of our little patients, and seeing your smiles today is the greatest reward for our entire team. Dear children! You are the most important people within these walls. You show incredible courage — courage that even adults could learn from. We wish you a speedy and full recovery, and wonderful spirits! Dear parents! Thank you for your patience and faith. We are doing, and will continue to do, everything possible to keep children healthy. I would like to give special thanks to those who gave us this wonderful celebration. To our sponsors and partners: thank you for your compassion and generosity. Your support helps us create an atmosphere of warmth for children, which is so necessary for recovery. To our volunteers: thank you for your time, sincerity, and for making hospital days brighter by giving children pure joy. To the entire staff of our center: thank you for your daily dedicated work. Gulnar Bulabayeva, head of the Pediatric Oncology and Hematology Department No. 3, also congratulated everyone on Children's Day, along with the event's main sponsors: Shapagat Nurpeisova, Makpal Aitzhan, and Ainur Kylyshbekova, head of the "Assylay" charitable foundation.

At the festive event, the children played various games and danced with entertainers. They worked with clay and learned about pottery. They also took part in a drawing competition called "The World Through a Child's Eyes." Artists painted the children's faces with aqua makeup, depicting their favorite cartoon characters. Bubble shows, Lego play workshops, and photo sessions with entertainers were also organized for the children.

First-year students of the Saurbek Ruzuddinov Dental College also came to support the children. They prepared a bright festive program: they danced, played with the children, recited poems, and created an atmosphere of warmth, joy, and kindness.

A pleasant finale to the celebration, adding to the children's joy, were the gifts, juices, and sweets given to the patients by the event's sponsors.

Once again, we congratulate all patients of the National Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery and wish them strong health, a happy childhood, peaceful skies, a life full of joy, fun, and smiles, and victory over their illness!
