The proceeds from the performance of the Chamber Orchestra of the State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty on the eve of the concert tour of the cities of Basel, Zurich and Lugano, as part of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Swiss Confederation, was sent to the Scientific Center for Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery.

Furniture for game rooms, purchased for donations, was recently installed in the department of complex somatic pathology with subsequent rehabilitation. Small patients from all over Kazakhstan are being treated. In addition, part of the donations are given for the arrangement of the territory - here appeared an alley of coniferous trees.

The current action is not the first in the framework of the program "Building bridges between East and West" in the field of humanitarian and social support for children with serious illnesses. There is also a project for the introduction of art therapy, which provides effective assistance to small patients in the fight against depression. First this project started in Almaty on the basis of the Institute of Oncology, after a while it began to be introduced in Astana.

- The main mission of the project under the program "Building bridges between East and West" is the unification of charity and popularization of Kazakh art in Europe. Since the first days of the program, its initiators have set a clear criterion: charitable projects are held in large medical centers, where there is a very large flow of small patients from all regions of the country, and therefore a high need, for example, in the arrangement of game rooms or in the ennobling of the territory. It is very important that the initiators of the program, together with the medical personnel, choose themselves how and how to help the small patients. Doctors of the department of complex somatic pathology with subsequent rehabilitation know that a playroom for children was necessary, this is an important element in the healing and rehabilitation process.
