In the Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Children’s Surgery, a charity concert "Armansyz konim bolmaydy" was held, dedicated to the International Children's Day.
         The event was organized by the “Help Today” charitable social foundation and the Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Children’s Surgery.
         The purpose of the concert is to give a holiday to children with cancer who are undergoing long-term inpatient treatment at the SCPCS, as well as strengthen their faith in the Victory over cancer, show a passion for creativity, and provide psychological support to children and parents.
         Welcoming speeches were made by director of the SCPCS Riza Boranbaeva and the chairman of “Help Today” Social Foundation Elmira Aliyeva.
         “The children who receive treatment in the Oncology Department of SCPCS have the main dream - to recover. But children are children, wherever they are, they want to draw, sing songs, have fun and enjoy themselves. We are glad that today we managed to distract them from the hospital setting and give them a real holiday. Children always dream, and we adults must think how to implement it. All the children of our country Happy Holiday! ”- said Riza Boranbaeva, Chairperson of the SCPCS Board.
         The charity event was attended by doctors and small patients of the SCPCS and their parents, departments of oncology and hematology, Alin Abdulam, a participant in the I-Winner charity project. A. Abdulam was able to defeat cancer twice in 3 years and 9 years. “Leukemia is a cancer of the blood when everything is on the edge. Between life and death. It needs a lot of faith in victory. Despite everything, I won. And I wish you the same. Believe in the best, ”Abdulam urged on events that experienced the hardships of the disease.
         The festive mood was given to the children by the stars of the Kazakh stage: Parviz Nazarov, Aidana Medenova, the Talisman group, the Tribal Pro dance group, Raym & Arthur and others. Along with pop stars, children under treatment and their parents performed with musical parts. For a month, children with cancer prepared dance parts, learned songs. And mothers with their dances tried to motivate children to win. The concert ended with a congratulatory flash mob from doctors of Pediatrics Center.
         As part of the event, children works exhibition of the Smart School charity project was held. For children, face painting and photo shoot in the photo zone with animators were organized. Volunteers and animators of the “We Art” society organized exciting games. At the end of the program, the small participants of the event were awarded with special prizes and souvenirs, where founding member was “Help Today” Social Foundation.
         The children were also congratulated on the holiday by Bauyrzhan Charitable Foundation, which presented various gifts to patients in the Department of Cardiology, Oncology and Hematology.
