From August 6 - 10, 2019, in Almaty, the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery KSPH university , as well as the scientific-clinical center of pediatric neurology and general rehabilitation "Alfred" on the basis of the Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery a master class is held "Assessment of Generalized Movement for Children of their early age" for neonatologists and pediatric neurologists." To conduct the master class, Lectors of the basic course were invited - neonatal neurologist, professor of the physiology department in the University of Graz (Austria) Krista Enschiler, the head of the department of neurology, professor of the University of Postgraduate Education Palchik Alexander Beinusovich (St. Petersburg, Russia). Target audience: neonatologists, neurologists, pediatric, who involved in the diagnosis of diseases for children of their early age.

Assessment of generalized movements - with standardized method which used for early diagnosis development violations of premature birth and children with normal birth of their early age from 0 to 6 months, which was included in the clinical protocol for Cerebral Palsy (CP) of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 2017. Because of this technique doctors will be able to differentiate (CP) and guide children for early intervention, which is the prevention of childhood neurological disability. During the master class seminar, issues of early diagnosis of damage to the nervous system, from the neonatal period to the first year of life, were identified. At the end of the course, doctors will receive a European certificate for assessing generalized movements using the Prehtla method. The total number of participants in the master class was 56 doctors of pediatric neurologists, neonatologists from all regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including 5 doctors from the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.

Conducting such educational courses and the exchange of experience will improve the quality of medical care for children of their early age, strengthening preventive measures to prevent neurological disability in our republic.
