The Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care for Newborns has 6 beds and provides specialized and high-tech medical care to newborns and premature infants from all regions of Kazakhstan. Infants with severe congenital malformations, surgical and somatic diseases, including pneumonia, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, hereditary protein metabolism disorders, and other complex conditions receive treatment here. Special attention is paid to the care of premature infants, including those with extremely low and low birth weight. The department uses modern methods of treatment and diagnostics, including endoscopic surgeries and laser coagulation of the retina in case of retinopathy of prematurity. Our team is a team of experienced, highly qualified specialists who are dedicated to their work and constantly improve their professional skills. We provide round-the-clock care and support to the most vulnerable patients, guided by international standards of neonatal care.
