The Department of Intensive Care and Anesthesia of newborns is deployed on 6 beds, provides specialized and highly specialized medical care for newborns and premature babies from all over Kazakhstan.
The main group of patients are newborns with surgical diseases, congenital malformations, with various somatic pathologies, such as pneumonia, hypoxic—ischemic encephalopathy, etc. Also, premature infants with extremely low and low body weight are cared for in the department, retinal laser coagulation is performed for retinopathy of prematurity.

Since 2022 he has been working in the scientific center of pediatrics and pediatric surgery.
