Surgical Department N°1 The Surgical Department provides highly qualified medical care for children with planned surgical pathology. Unit has experience in treating children with diseases and malformations of the neck, chest cavity, lungs, mediastinum, esophagus, gastrointestinal tract, colon, liver, biliary tract and benign neoplasms chest and abdominal cavities. Good results have been achieved in the treatment of these diseases. Based on some experience department of pediatric surgery that the base of the multidisciplinary center makes it possible to solve the main problems faced by specialized district hospitals, which sometimes unable to provide high-quality assistance children with severe disabilities. To date, esophageal plastic surgery conducted only in our division in Kazakhstan.
We have the most important surgical treatment experience portal hypertension, liver tumors
and malformations of the biliary tract, colon surgery in our country. Recently a certain group of our patients are children with gastroesophageal reflux diseases that undergo complex examination and conservative surgical correction.
