Day Hospital Department

 

 

The day hospital department has been operating at the Scientific Center for Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery since April 1, 2012. The profile of the department is pediatric hematology and oncology. There are 5 hospital beds and consultative and diagnostic reception in the department.

The day hospital department provides examination and outpatient treatment to patients aged 0 to 18 with hematological and oncological diseases. Up to 15-20 patients from different regions of the country registered at the dispensary with diagnoses such as acute leukemia, histiocytosis, lymphoma, solid tumors, hemophilia and other nosologies receive consultations from qualified doctors daily. All patients are given the necessary scope of examination, correction of supportive therapy, consultation of specialists and syndrome-symptomatic treatment. 

 

 

In addition, patients who have undergone hematopoietic stem cell transplantation are also observed in the day hospital. In the prescribed time, patients undergo a specific examination for the engraftment of donor cells (chimerism) and, if necessary, additional consultations by field specialists are provided.

Kiyalbekova Zhanar Anarbekovna - Head of the department, has a certificate of a pediatric oncologist-hematologist and the highest qualification category.

In 1998, she graduated from Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D.Asfendiyarov with a major in pediatrics, faculty of pediatrics.

In 2008, she completed her primary specialization in the specialty “Transplantation in Pediatric Patients” at the Belarusian Research Center for Pediatric Oncology, Hermatology and Immunology in the Republic of Belarus.

In 2012, she completed training courses in pediatric hemato-oncology at the Shiba Clinic, Israel.

From January 20, 2004 to June 2017, she worked as a doctor in the Department of Hematology of young children.

From July 2017 to May 2019, she was an employee of the Department of Science and Postgraduate Education of the Scientific Center for Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery.

Since June 03, 2019, she has been acting as the head of the day hospital department.

The doctor of the department is Ismanbekova Asel Daurkyzy.

In 2014 she graduated from KAZNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, Faculty of General Medicine.

In 2016, she completed an internship in Pediatrics.

In 2018, she completed a residency in Pediatrics.

Since October 1, 2018, he has been acting as a doctor of the day hospital department.

In 2019, she completed advanced training in the cycle "Modern programs for the diagnosis and treatment of oncological and hematological diseases in children".

In January 2020, the second qualification category in the specialty "Pediatrics" was awarded.

In 2020, she completed advanced training in the cycle "Topical issues of pediatric oncology and hematology".

Musa Laura Kanatkyzy - Senior day hospital nurse

In 2018, she graduated from the Republican Medical College of Almaty, faculty of nursing.

Since July 1, 2019, she has been working as a nurse in the intensive care unit, intensive care and anesthesiology for newborns of the Scientific Center for Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery.

On January 7, 2020, she was appointed a senior nurse in the department of intensive care, intensive care and anesthesiology for newborns of the center.

Since February 1, 2021, she has been a senior nurse at the day hospital of the center.

In May, 2021, she was certified by EvrADO "Courses for nurses in pediatric Oncology/Hematology in Eurasia: Module 3"

In February 2022, she completed "BLS" training courses on medical emergencies..
