Oncology/Hematology Department №1

The Department of Oncology/Hematology №1 consist 20 beds opened in April 2014, where diagnostics and treatment of children with oncological and hematological pathologies from 0 to 18 years old is carried out, also is a clinical and scientific foundation for the training pediatric oncologists.  The main principles of the work of the department are the highest professionalism, mercy and respect for the personality and rights of the patient.

The doctors of the department have been trained in leading clinics in Germany, Austria, England, Russia.

All forms of malignant neoplasms of childhood receive antitumor, high-dose chemotherapy with high efficiency. Particular attention is paid to accompanying therapy in order to improve the tolerability of chemotherapy, as well as the prevention of early and late complications of chemotherapy, which ultimately leads to an improvement in the quality of life of patients.

Children with one of the parents are accommodated mainly in 1-2-bed comfortable rooms, with a TV, shower and toilet.

Simultaneously with treatment, children have the opportunity to engage in creativity under the guidance of a teacher in a specially equipped playroom. Organized educational and entertainment programs. The efforts of a clinical psychologist and volunteers provide psychological support to patients and their relatives.
